Wow! Everything is coming along OK! It's a bit of work getting this thing off the ground, but as it comes together, the momentum makes it easier and easier.
I want to say thanks to those folks that have gotten in early to support us so far:
First the pubs so far.
Bernie and his team at Eugene O'Neill's where we'll be kicking off (great beer selection and menu).
Paul and his crew at The James's Gate (I love this place especially at Christmas when the fire is going and the seisiun is in full swing).
And last and certainly not least, Jason Waddleton and his staff at the Haven, Boston's premier Scottish pub & bistro, and patron of the Scots Charitable Society.
Now the folks so far who are donating their products in an effort to get you to get up and crawl for a good cause:
Walker's Shortbread. That red plaid is a fixture of anything Scottish.
Dunnottar Castle. Why Dunnottar. One, I was married there so why not? Two, they're fantastic people and the castle features prominently on the wall of The Haven. The Haven is named for Stonehaven, where the castle is located (and where my ancestors are from) and Mr. Waddleton is from.
Sam Adams - These folks are in the neighborhood of the crawl and are known for their community involvement and generosity. (I highly recommend the brewery tour!)
Cheers all!
